In October 2004 the Media Anthropology Network set up a mailing list to ease the exchange of information among Network participants.
Participants share information on media anthropology events, publications, jobs, etc, through this list. They also use the list for spontaneous discussions which complement the more structured e-seminars.
PDF documents of these discussions will be made freely available on this page from time to time.
(You need Acrobat Reader to download and read the documents.)
Although participants are strongly encouraged to join EASA if they meetthe criteria of eligibility (see http://www.easaonline.org/about/cons.htm), membership of EASA is not a prerequisite for subscribing to the Media Anthropology Network mailing list. The mailing list is open to scholars, research students and others anywhere in the world who have a legitimate interest in the anthropology of media.
Mailing list subscribers can access the archive of the list and search for messages. To edit the subscriber's options, change e-mail, get a password reminder, etc. go to http://lists.easaonline.org/listinfo.cgi/medianthro-easaonline.org.
For further information, or to subscribe to the mailing list, please contact John Postill
